The Valley is the most significant case for Anarc being the ruins of a terrestrial world. Resembling a shattered sherical shell, the valley is coated by stone and organic waste its smooth ‘outer’ edge and rich metal deposits on the jagged ‘inner’ section. It stands near the center of Anarc between The Sea and The Field, and is the Realm’s widest point. It is now split into two sections, severed by a fusion detonation during The Death of Tradition.
The inner section of the valley is studded with mining colonies, with the ruins of Tradition at the center and the cities of Industry and Excess on opposite ends. The smooth edge also features a number of craters, as well as ancient weathered ruins of what may once have been cities. While pirates and other terrorists roam the area, many archaeologists make forays into the Valley to collect whatever artifacts and historical knowledge may litter the surface.
